The Standard Business Card Size

Standard Business Card Dimensions and the answer to "How big is a business card?"

What is the standard business card size?

The commonly adopted standard for business card size is 3.5 inches by 2 inches. That is the size of a card after all processes such as printing, coating and cutting. Some printers, like us, have a bleed space that is required. Bleed space basically protects your important content from getting cut away by keeping it within the safe zone. For the standard business card size of 3.5 inches by 2 inches, 3.5 inches is the width and 2 inches is the height of the card.
